Healing Sessions
Reiki Healing Sessions
Reiki is a Japanese form of “hands on” energy healing. The word “Reiki” literally means “Universal Life Energy”. Through a series of attunements, the Reiki practitioner becomes a channel for this Light/God/Unconditional Love energy.
A person does not have to be ill to benefit from Reiki as we can all benefit from the Love of God.
In a Reiki session, the client lies on a Reiki or massage table fully clothed. The Reiki practitioner uses various hand positions on or above the body as he or she is guided to do so and the energy is transmitted to the client.
The energy is very relaxing and comforting and some clients may feel heat or tingling from the practitioner’s hands. Depending on the issues that the client may be experiencing, it may take more than one Reiki session before improvement is felt. In other cases, one Reiki session will be sufficient. There is always benefit to be gained from Reiki.
Sometimes a client may feel like their symptoms have become worse after a Reiki treatment. This is because the Reiki energy brings the condition or symptoms “up and out” first so that it can be released. This also allows the client the opportunity to examine any mental and/or emotional patterns that may be related to the illness or condition and, if they choose, to transform them.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis is a state of mind in which an individual is in the alpha state. This is the state of mind that a person is in when they are meditating, day-dreaming or just falling asleep or awakening. Some people call it a deep state of relaxation.
In the state of hypnosis, a person is allowing their conscious mind to take a “back seat” so that their subconscious mind can come forward.
The subconscious mind is that part of a person that holds certain beliefs and habit patterns that we learned in life, especially childhood. These beliefs and habit patterns can be detrimental at times, such as the belief that “I am not good enough” or “No one will ever love me” or the habit of smoking or getting involved in dysfunctional relationships. In hypnosis, we can give suggestions to the subconscious that would be of benefit to the client.
It is as if we are replacing the negative beliefs and habit patterns with a new and more positive belief or habit pattern.
Hypnosis is used for a variety of issues including the following:
Anger ~ Anxiety ~ Depression ~ Health Issues ~ Smoking ~ Weight ~ Creativity ~ Relationships Prosperity ~ Confidence ~ Self-Esteem ~ Childhood Issues ~ Family Issues ~ Past-Life Issues Life Path/Destiny ~ Psychic Abilities
In hypnosis, it is important to realize that the Hypnotherapist is just a facilitator. The client always has full control over their mind and their body and cannot be told to do, say or believe anything that is not in harmony with their own individual truth.
